The South West Region enjoys a moderate
climate. Maximum temperatures are in the high 20C to mid 30C
during summer ( December to February ) and drop to between
14 - 17C during winter ( June to August ).
Minimum temperatures vary from 3-10C in
winter and average approximately 16C in summer.
Summer is primarily hot and dry, with rain
fall confined to winter ( June to August )
The best time to visit the South West Region
is in Autumn ( March to May ) and spring ( September to November
) when the region is blessed with sunny, moderate days.
