This stunning vineyard is situated on the coast of Eagle Bay and produces a range of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Shiraz. Wise Winery, situated on Eagle Bay Road, Dunsborough, is famous for being the only vineyard in the region looking over the oceans. Wise Wine has been honoured with numerous gold medals at significant Australian wine competitions and is known for its exceptionally high-quality wines.

The tasting room with ocean views is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. In addition, the Wise property contains two restaurants satisfying a range of dining experiences. Wise Vineyard Restaurant is situated next to the Cellar door, and Meelup Brook Farmhouse is just a short distance away in the valley.

Cape Grace Wines

A boutique winery that produces premium wines in limited quantities, Cape Grace Wines, situated on Fifty-One Road, Cowaramp, is known for its Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The tasting room is intimate and offers a personalised experience, with the winemaker often on hand to answer questions. In addition, if you happen to be there during vintage, you may see some fermenting in action with a tour explaining the wine-making process.

Bonus tip: Outside, adjacent to the cellar door, you can visit their private collection of Australian parrots in a natural bush setting.

Windows Estate

If you’re looking for something more intimate, then try Windows Estate. Located on Quininup Road, Yallingup. This small, family-owned vineyard produces premium wines, including Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Semillon and Merlot. Windows Estate is known for its straightforward traditional methods and extremely high standards.

The tasting room is cosy and welcoming, with knowledgeable staff to guide you through the wines. You will also find a range of eclectic gifts, local artworks and gourmet foods from around the world here. 

Howard Park Wines

Howard Park Wines, as seen above, is a highly regarded vineyard located less than five minutes from the town of Cowaramup in the Margaret River region. The team at Howard Park Wines specialises in Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay but also produces a range of other varietals. The tasting room is elegant and modern, with knowledgeable staff to guide you through the wines. Here, you can enjoy a delectable cheese and charcuterie selection sourced from nearby farms.

Vasse Felix

One of the oldest and most established wineries in the Margaret River region, Vasse Felix, situated on Caves Road, Cowaramup, overlooking the Wilyabrup Brook, and is known for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blends and Chardonnay varieties. Farmed sustainably using traditional and organic practices. In addition, the winery offers tours, tastings, an art gallery and a restaurant serving local, seasonal cuisine.

Flametree Wines

Flametree Wines in the image above is located on Caves Road between Busselton and Dunsborough in the Margaret River Region. This vineyard is known for its award-winning Chardonnay and Cabernet wines. Recognised for their beautifully handcrafted wines with unique flavours, structure and depth, they source most of their fruit from other growers, ensuring top-quality blends. The winery offers tastings and tours, with a stunning restaurant to tempt your tastebuds.

Walk-in tastings are available for singles, couples and small groups (eight people or under). Booking is not required, but tasting fees apply.

Hay Shed Hill

Located in Wilyabrup, just north of Margaret River, Hay Shed Hill is a winery and restaurant that produces a range of wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, as well as making the wines marketed under the Pitchfork brand. The restaurant serves delicious food and offers stunning views of the vineyards.

Robert Oatley Vineyards

This stunning boutique vineyard is on Caves Rd, Yallingup, just north of Margaret River. Credaro Wines, pictured above, is a family-owned winery that produces a range of wines. Including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. With a Tuscan-style Cellar Door, you will find a tasting room that is relaxed and welcoming. Cape Mentelle

A Margaret River icon, Cape Mentelle is one of the region’s founding five wineries. You can find them on Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River.
